The new corporate address of the company is at located Sanko Line Bldg. 1631 San Marcelino St. Malate, Manila. It expanded its services thru in-house trainings and provided lodging for seafarers who come from their provinces.

Simultaneously, the company installed a Deck/Engine simulator for our seafarers, thus, providing additional learning facilities in order for its seafarers to be globally competitive through proper and extensive safety training for safety onboard, life at sea and care for the environment.

Presently, the company is catering to various principals and presently supplying Seafarers.

Fil-Star recruitment and hiring system is different from any other manning agencies. The hired seafarers are not from the market and not accepting walk-in applicants. They are being employed at a very young age around 21-26 years old and shall be employed from the lowest position, thus, upgrading them from one position to another after gaining the sea experience, proper training and examination. Seafarers under the cadetship program are molded to be officers in the future. On the other hand, newly hired seafarers are either sons or relatives of Fil-Star seafarers seafarers maintaining the philosophy of “Fil-Star Family”. The company is taking care of them from the beginning of their career and staying with the company until they reach their retirement.

In return to the good service and loyalty given by the seafarers, Fil-Star Maritime Corporation is giving other benefits which are not given by other manning agencies like airfare, health insurance, training allowances and lodging benefits.

Fil-Star Maritime Corporation is yearly conducting a cadetship qualifying examination to various schools and granting scholarships to chosen cadets in order to fill up the demand of manpower pooling.

To further upgrade the quality service of the company to its customers: as guided by quality policy and quality objective set by the management, the company was able to Secure ISO 9001:2015 by Class NK with society affiliation of JAB and RvAC.

More so, the company is a MLC 2006 accredited manning agency in conformity with the Seafarers Recruitment and Placement Service Provider.
